The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) has prepared a Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) for the Croskell Employment Precinct, in Melbourne’s south-east growth corridor. This plan outlines the land use and layout of roads, public transport corridors and other key infrastructure for new communities. The Plan is currently in the process of obtaining final approvals.
As part of the VPA’s process, Melbourne Water has completed a drainage strategy for future urban development within the Croskell Employment PSP. This identifies the stormwater drainage infrastructure and treatment assets needed so that new developments meet current standards for flood protection, water quality, waterway health and amenity. It also determines the financial contribution developers pay us in order to fund this infrastructure. The drainage strategy has involved consultation and feedback with stakeholders including VPA, developers, landowners, DEECA, council, utility groups, and other government authorities.
The Croskell Employment PSP is located within Ti Tree Creek Development Services Scheme (DSS 0619), 45 kilometres south east of Melbourne’s CBD.
