This work, amongst other things, has facilitated the introduction of practices to streamline the way we process planning applications. As foreshadowed in our last newsletter, we are pleased to have now resolved all legacy applications (pre-November 2023), processing approximately 7,300 developer applications in the last three months.

We are continuing to work through our broader improvement program, implementing a range of process and system enhancements to support further improvements to application processing timeframes.

Industry guidance material

In December 2024, we released a suite of three new industry guidance documents.

These guidelines aim to assist the industry in enhancing the quality of applications submitted. By improving application quality and streamlining our internal assessment processes, we can better meet our Service Standards and ensure more efficient and effective application handling.

We will continue to report back on this work via this new Hub.
