The new way to access the Western Treatment Plant
We are upgrading our gate access for all registered birdwatchers and permit holders.
In order to increase safety and better manage accessibility of this pristine site, we are upgrading the key and lock system to electronic e-locks.
From October 31 2017, the Western Treatment Plant gates to access all birdwatching sites will be fitted with a new e-lock system. If you are a registered birdwatcher with WTP and hold a current permit, you will be given a new Fob Key to access the site in the coming weeks.
