The coastal track adjacent to Lake Borrie south is once again open to bird watchers.

As you may be aware, a section of the coastal track has been closed from March 2023 due to safety concerns from coastal erosion. We are happy to report that this track has been made safe and is once again open for all bird-watchers to use. Please ensure all vehicles stick to the gravel track on this section of road.

Large scale coastal remediation works will be taking place throughout WTP from April 2024. Until that point, we anticipate the costal roads to remain open to the bird-watching public.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience with this matter.
