What we heard

During phase two engagement, we asked the community to provide feedback on the draft concept designs which were developed based on previous engagement.

73 people completed the online survey, providing valuable feedback and insights into each of the design concepts as well as ideas for recreation at the Glenroy retarding basins.

We engaged with 117 people across all engagement activities. The majority of people like or really like the designs, however, there are still considerations and concerns to resolve in the final designs.

How did we engage?

A range of events and activities were undertaken with the community to promote the project and seek ideas. These included:

  • an online survey
  • three on-site tours of the Box Forest Road, Campbellfield Creek and Jack Roper Reserve (CSL) retarding basins.

Who we heard from

We heard from 117 participants across:

  • 73 online surveys
  • 2 email submissions
  • 20 tour attendees
  • 22 social media comments.

What we heard

In collating the results from the survey, the majority of participants like or really like the draft concept designs.

Community concerns

What’s next?

We have taken all your feedback and concerns on-board and are considering them in the final designs, which we hope to share with you in the next couple of months.

In the meantime, we are still working on the cost-benefit analysis and confirming the funding for the project to ensure we can deliver more open space in Glenroy for future generations to enjoy.
