Melbourne Water has a broad engagement program to support community and customer participation in the development of its Price Submission 2026.

The community panel will meet three times in person throughout 2024 and will have a participant group that is representative of Melbourne Water’s diverse customers and community.

Through the community panels, we aim to:

  1. Understand customer and community values, concerns and preferences on our prices and service standards.
  2. Ask customers and community to determine the priority of services for 2026-31.
  3. Check if customer and community priorities match ours in our proposed Price Submission 2026 and address any differences.

Melbourne Water is working with experienced practitioners to deliver the community engagement process.
