The PSP was approved by the Minister for Planning and gazetted on 27 February 2025, under Amendment C274card to the Cardinia Planning Scheme.

As part of the VPA’s planning process, we prepared a concept drainage strategy to ensure adequate drainage infrastructure for future urban development of the area. This engineering plan identifies the assets needed to meet current standards for flood protection, water quality, waterway health and amenity.
The strategy also informs financial contributions from developers to fund this infrastructure, and broader catchment drainage strategies (known as Development Services Schemes, or DSSs).
